This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) that EAA Compliance Scanner uses, why we use them, and the choices you have. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Strictly necessary cookies
We set a secure, HTTP-only session cookie when you sign in so the Service can keep you authenticated. This cookie is essential — the Service cannot work without it — and is not used for tracking.
Preference storage
We store your language choice (a NEXT_LOCALE cookie set when you switch locale) and your light/dark theme preference (in your browser's local storage). These remember your settings between visits and carry no tracking identifiers.
Analytics (only if enabled)
If product analytics is enabled for this deployment, Google Analytics may set cookies to measure aggregate, anonymous usage. We never send personal data to analytics, and analytics is loaded only where permitted. If analytics is not enabled, no analytics cookies are set.
No advertising cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share cookie data with advertising networks.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but blocking the strictly-necessary session cookie will prevent you from signing in. Where consent is required for analytics, you can withdraw it at any time by emailing privacy@eaacompliant.com.
