Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 25, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements the Terms of Service. Violating it is grounds for immediate suspension and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Scan only what you are authorized to scan
You may not submit URLs for sites you do not own or do not have explicit permission to test. You are responsible for holding the necessary authorization for every address you enter.
No attacks or disruption
You may not use the Service to overload, denial-of-service, probe for vulnerabilities, gain unauthorized access to, or otherwise disrupt any website or system. Accessibility scanning is for assessing your own sites, not for attacking third parties.
No abusive automation
You may not use scripts, bots, or other automated means to generate scans in bulk, evade per-account or per-IP rate limits, or circumvent technical controls. The rate limits are part of the Service.
No resale or redistribution of access
You may not resell, sublicense, rent, or share access to your account, except as expressly permitted by an agency or white-label plan. Reports you generate may be shared with the site owners and clients they concern.
No misrepresentation of results
You may not present an automated scan, score, or generated document as an independent or legally binding certification of accessibility conformance. Automated results are guidance and must not be used to mislead regulators, customers, or the public about a site's accessibility.
Enforcement and reporting
We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, cancel pending scans, withhold refunds for breaching accounts, and report illegal activity to the appropriate authorities. To report misuse, email abuse@eaacompliant.com.
This page is informational only and does not constitute legal advice, nor a guarantee of WCAG or EU Accessibility Act conformance. Automated testing finds a subset of accessibility issues; please consult a qualified accessibility or legal professional before relying on it.
