Generate your accessibility statement & VPAT
Once a scan completes, you can generate two regulator-ready documents in one tap: a branded accessibility statement and a VPAT 2.x table mapped to WCAG 2.2 AA / EN 301 549. Both are dated, deterministic, and downloadable as PDFs.
What's an accessibility statement?
An accessibility statement is the public-facing document the European Accessibility Act expects you to publish. It says which standard you're targeting (WCAG 2.2 AA), what your current conformance status is, lists known issues, and tells visitors how to give feedback or escalate to a national enforcement authority. Use it on a /accessibility page, in your footer, or wherever your privacy and terms live.
What's a VPAT?
A Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is the procurement-facing document. Enterprise buyers and EU public-sector RFPs almost always ask for one before signing. It's a structured table that lists every WCAG Level A and AA success criterion alongside a conformance verdict — Supports, Partially Supports, Does Not Support, or Not Applicable — with a short remark explaining the verdict.
Honesty caveat — please read
Both documents reflect ONLY the pages our scanner visited and only the issues automated testing can detect. Automated testing typically catches about 30–40% of accessibility barriers — colour contrast, missing alt text, mislabeled controls, ARIA misuse. It cannot evaluate subjective things like reading order, useful link text, or whether captions accurately match audio. A manual review by accessible-design experts is recommended before publishing a definitive conformance claim.
How to generate
- Run a scan to completion. Reports require a finished scan; an in-progress or failed scan returns an error.
- Open the scan detail page and choose "Generate accessibility statement" or "Generate VPAT".
- We render the PDF server-side in your selected language (one of: English, Spanish, French, German, Arabic).
- Download the PDF. The link is short-lived and scoped to your account; re-open the scan to refresh the download.
- Regenerate any time — the content is deterministic, so the same scan always produces the same document.
What's in scope of each report
Both reports list the pages scanned, the overall accessibility score, the conformance grid against WCAG 2.2 Level A and Level AA, and contact + enforcement procedure placeholders aligned with EAA expectations. The VPAT additionally splits Level A and Level AA into their own tables, mapping each criterion to a Supports / Partially Supports / Does Not Support verdict with an issue-count remark.
Can I generate one as a guest?
Yes. Guest scans show the generated report on the results page using your scoped guestToken. You only need an account to SAVE the report to your dashboard for re-download later.
